Travel Directions

Byron Bay is 30 minutes from Ballina Airport, 45 minutes from Coolangatta Airport and just over 2 hours from Brisbane Airport.

Shuttle bus connections can be arranged door to door.

Things To Do

Relax on one of the worlds most pristine beaches, do the popular scenic walk to the lighthouse and watch the dolphins and whales at play, (whales can be viewed from May to November) or simply enjoy a sunrise from one of the lookouts at Australias most easterly point.

Other attractions include exploring our hinterland with its spectacular waterfalls and rainforest walks, breakfast on the top of Mt Warning, a day trip to Nimbin, a round of golf at a choice of two golf courses, hot air ballooning over our wonderful region or perhaps take a tour out to our marine park sanctuary to snorkel or scuba dive around beautiful Julian Rocks. Take your choice Byron Bay has it all!

Otherwise just relax, put your feet up and people watch as the rest of the world walks by!
