Overview

Baystay Guesthouse is a spacious and comfortable beach house, ideally situated only four minutes stroll from the beautiful beaches of Byron Bay and the numerous bars, restaurants and boutiques of the town. Although only 400 metres from the centre of town, it is far away enough from the hustle and bustle of town to allow you to wind down and relax.

Baystay Guesthouse offers guests a haven to relax and recharge. The casual ambiance of Byron is reflected in the delightful and comfortable guest rooms all of which overlook a lush native garden visited by an array of Australian birds.

We also offer BBQ, bikes, goggles and snorkel and other sporting equipment to assist you to enjoy your stay. But if it's activities you want, your host, John, has lived in the area for over 20 years and can guide you on wonderful bush tours, or just assist you to relax. Or if you want more, John can help you choose from the many activities offered in this great town including Snorkelling, Scuba Diving, Kayaking, Fishing, Horse Riding, Gliding, Bush Walking, Dolphin and Whale watching, tours to Galleries and Cafes.

Marvell Street is directly opposite bus terminal and continues on hill side of sporting fields. We are on corner on the eastern section (ie hill end) of Marvell Street 400 metres from town.
