Overview
The house is truly 5 plus stars . Araucaria is owned by an interior designer and her interiors photographer husband accordingly the decor is one of comfortable sophistication and refinement. Araucaria has a southern Mediterranean design, with a definite Tuscan feel.
There is a stunning sunny country kitchen and large informal kitchen eating area with comfortable lounges. There are 5 bedrooms, 3 with ensuites, and a total of 4 bathrooms and a powder room, all with marble finishes.
The Luxury Double bedroom, with Laura Ashley furnishings is air conditioned and has disabled facilities plus a balcony. The Superior Queen bedroom has north facing french door overlooking the north terrace. The Luxury Pool House has it's own marble ensuite and fantastic views to Cape Byron. There is a large Mediterranean style terrace, with a variety of sitting and eating areas where you can take in some great views of Byron Bay.
The rather grand formal lounge is very comfortable and has a large open fire place.
Araucaria definitely offers a truly luxurious setting for the more discerning guest.

Garden Room - 1 night
The Garden room has French doors leading onto the north facing terrace with views to the hills in the west. There is a large writing bench and antique furnishings. It has a lovely large shared bathroom with marble finishes.s. A beautiful gourmet breakfast is included.
Laura Ashley Room - 1 night
Luxury room with queen bed and large marble ensuite, Laura Ashley wallpaper and antique furnishings. French doors leading onto private balcony with rural outlook. Beautiful gourmet breakfast included.
Luxury Master Suite - 2 night
The Luxury Master Suite is a large luxury bedroom with Juliette balconies, views to the ocean and mountains, it contains a large luxury marble lined bathroom with large egg shaped bath and its own balcony. The room is furnished with antique furniture. A beautiful gourmet breakfast is included.
Luxury Pool House Room - 1 night
The Luxury Pool House Room has marble floors and a luxury ensuite. It has views to the ocean, mountains and Byron Bay Lighthouse. Relax in your own villa right next to the pool and tropical gardens
Terrace Room - 1 night
TThe Terrace room has French doors leading onto the north facing terrace with views to the hills in the west. It has a comfy sofa and antique furnishings. There is a lovely large shared bathroom with marble finishes A beautiful gourmet breakfast is included.
